It isn't a studio sketchbook: it's the notebook I keep in my pocket when I go out walking. It fits in one hand and I can open it at any moment. Direct ink, no preliminary sketch: what I see in the moment, I draw.

I have a particular connection with this kind of notebook, because it becomes a pocket diary and, at the same time, a travel log. This one is filled with ink and watercolor drawings of places and buildings in Buenos Aires. (Only some of its pages are shown here.)
